06:13 pm - Rain, Rain, Go Away I haven't floated away...yet. Gustav stalled out as a tropical storm here. What winds we had manifested last night; today, tomorrow, and Thursday nothing but rain. Of course, there is the danger of flooding, and much of Shreveport is without power--but it could have been much worse.
Now there's Hannah, a potential threat to some of you on my flist, and Ike, and Josephine... God, I'll be glad when hurricane season is over!
Thanks to you who kept the South in your thoughts and prayers--it worked!

Comments:
Hope you'll be all dried out soon.
The Carolinas could use a rainmaker (we're still in drought conditions) but not the high winds and coastal damage that seem inevitable these days.

I'll keep up the good thoughts. Hopefully none of the alphabet of storms will cause serious damage.
